Boiled Apple Cider Mimosa

an autumn take on a brunch classic, made with boiled apple cider to up the apple punch.

every fall I make a batch of boiled cider, mostly to use in pies and other apple desserts to up the apple flavor but it’s also a great add in to drinks like this or mocktails like a boiled apple cider and matcha nonalcoholic spritz.

Boiled Apple Cider Mimosa

a simple twist on the mimosa using boiled apple cider which will last indefinitely in the fridge

Course Cocktail

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tsp boiled apple cider (use a little more for more apple flavor, a little less for just a hint)
  • 6 ounces prosecco I'm a big fan of Costco's kirkland brand

Instructions
 

  • pour the boiled apple cider into the receptacle of your choice
  • top with prosecco (or other bubbly white wine of your choice)
  • consume in moderation, preferably with a hearty brunch
