Serve this batch cranberry negroni as a teaser for your next holiday gathering. Or scale it down and celebrate small but still sparkly

cranberry batch negroni with a sparkly sugar rim
a festive batch negroni made with a just a splash of unsweetened cranberry juice and a raw sugar rim
Ingredients
- 6 ounces campari (or your choice of red bitter)
- 6 ounces gin of choice
- 6 ounces sweet vermouth/vermouth rosso
- 1-2 ounces unsweetened cranberry juice I use a little more cran if using a red bitter with less bite than campari
- an orange to coat the rims of the glasses
- demerara sugar
Instructions
- coat the rims of glasses with cut orange, allow juice to set and get a little sticky (30 seconds or so) and then dip into a shallow dish of demerara sugar
- combine campari, gin, vermouth, and cranberry juice in a quart size glass jar, stir to combine
- add ice cubes stir and strain into prepared glasses (if making fewer than six cocktails you can remove the ice and store the remaining cocktail in the freezer )
- consume with good cheer
